Commission Policy
1. Overview of Commission Architecture
Amountshop operates an automated, deterministic commission calculation engine. Every commercial transaction recorded by a merchant partner is processed through strict mathematical apportionment rules that guarantee total allocation equals the approved merchant commission pool without arbitrary breakage or leakage.
2. Commission Structure & Types
Commissions are paid using one of three standard merchant campaign structures:
- Percentage Basis: A fixed percentage calculated against the net order value (excluding GST, delivery charges, and applied merchant store credits).
- Fixed Bounty Basis: A predetermined fixed amount in Indian Rupees (₹ INR) credited upon each completed qualified order.
- Hybrid Tiered Basis: Base percentage plus performance volume incentives applied once an affiliate crosses designated monthly order milestones.
3. The 3-Tier Multi-Level Cap Rule
In strict compliance with Indian anti-pyramid direct selling regulations, network overrides are strictly capped at two levels of upline sponsorship:
| Tier Level | Eligible Member Category | Pool Share | Qualification Rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Retailer (Direct Affiliate) | 50% | Generates direct click conversion |
| Level 2 | Sponsor Distributor | 30% | Direct sponsor of the Retailer |
| Level 3 | Super Distributor | 20% | Regional leader with active volume |
Chain Cap Rule: No commission is ever paid beyond Level 3. There are zero infinite matrixes, binary leg balancing gimmicks, or deep pyramid overrides.
4. Hold Periods & Conversion Lifecycle
When an order is first recorded via postback, it enters a Pending Commission Hold status. The standard hold window is 30 days from delivery. This hold protects the network against customer returns, warranty cancellations, and payment chargebacks.
5. Rounding & Ledger Precision
All commission splits are rounded to two decimal places using the ROUND_HALF_UP standard. Any fractional breakage (less than ₹0.01) is retained in the platform incentive buffer and cannot be confiscated.
